The car beautifully framed by a brilliant blue sky is a 1939 Lagonda LG6 Rapide Drophead Coupe with a factory coach built body. It was the US Lagonda Importer's 1940 New York Auto Show centerpiece. One of only six LWB LG6 Rapides built. In 2008 it was a double-trophy winner at the Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance .
